In his KSL radio coach's show finale, head coach Dave Rose previewed the upcoming West Coast Conference tournament and how the team has gotten to where they are now.

"I think everyone knows that we need to go down to the WCC tournament and win this thing. I can feel the sense of urgency from the guys and I hope that drives us. These guys are determined to do the best they can and make the most of this season."

The WCC announced yesterday its All-Conference team with Brandon Davies and Tyler Haws named to the All-WCC team.

"Individual awards in a team game are always difficult to talk about because, really, there's no way Brandon and Tyler could get that award without the team. But there are guys who have to step up and take charge, so I'm proud of them."

In the upcoming conference tournament, the Cougars are a No. 3 seed and will play Friday night against the winner of San Diego and Pepperdine. Coach Rose mentioned the difficulties his team has had with both squads this year and talked a little about the strengths of each.

Later in the show, senior Craig Cusick joined to talk about how the team is feeling for the rest of the year and how he thinks this season has gone.

Cusick and coach Rose talked a little strategy on how the team is going to go into the tournament strong and be prepared to get the wins they need. They also talked a little about Cusick's father who was recently diagnosed with cancer and how he's doing.

To finish the show, coach Rose answered questions from fans.
