The BYU men’s basketball team (5-3) will host instate rival Utah tomorrow night at 7 p.m. MST in the Marriott Center as part of the Deseret First Duel.
BYU is coming off a 62-83 loss on the road to Iowa State a week ago.
Against the Cyclones, Brandon Davies led all players with 20 points and six rebounds. Matt Carlino also scored in double-figure points with a season high of 12.
The Utes come to Provo with a 6-2 overall record, winning five of their last six games. In its most recent game, Utah defeated Boise State 76-55 behind a game-high 18 points from Jarred Dubois.
Utah went 6-25 last season, finishing the year with a 53-41 loss to UCLA in the Pac-12 Tournament and a 1-11 record through its last 12 games. They return three starters this season in David Foster, Cedric Martin and Jason Washburn.
