Former Cougar and 2011 NCAA National Player of the Year Jimmer Fredette concluded a successful week at the 2012 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas with a 19-point, five-assist performance in a 91-82 win over the Boston Celtics.
Fredette, a member of the Sacramento Kings, averaged 18.0 point, 3.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists. Despite struggling shooting from the field, he averaged eight free throw attempts per game and shot 87.5 percent from the charity stripe.
Against the Houston Rockets Fredette posted his best scoring total with 30 points on 10 of 21 shooting.

Trent Plaisted also participated in the Summer League with the Toronto Raptors. He averaged 3.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks while shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 75.0 percent from the free throw line. His best game was against the Dallas Mavericks when he posted six points, seven rebounds and two assists.
