On the eve of the World University Games opener for USA Basketball

With Tyler Haws and his teammates ready to open the World University games on Sunday, here are a few highlights from the opening ceremonies and a great feature from KSL 5 on Tyler and his father Marty.

Haws and his teammates participated in the opening ceremonies of the World University Games on Saturday. His teammate Luke Hancock of Louisville was the flag bearer for the U.S. delegation of more than 300 athletes.

Haws Tweeted the following:

"wow!!! opening ceremonies was awesome... Russia did a great job!! very cool to be apart of"

He also Tweeted a shot of himselft from before the games: "Opening ceremonies tonight!! ya like the outfit?"
