The four-way logjam for second place in the West Coast Conference was halved last week as BYU defeated San Francisco and Pepperdine lost to Gonzaga. The result is Saint Mary's and BYU sitting one game behind the Bulldogs. BYU has its chance to pull even with Gonzaga in the loss column on Saturday night in Spokane, Wash. Fifth-place Pepperdine travels to third-place Saint Mary's on Thursday in another game that would have top of the standing implications.

BYU's full slate this week includes traveling to face Portland on ROOT Sports on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 8 p.m. MST and Gonzaga on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. MST on ESPN2.
