BYU's spring football practices came to a close on Friday with the team's annual Alumni Day. Nearly 1,000 people participated as former players and their family members came back to campus to spend time with the current team.

While practices are finished for now there are several opportunities coming up over the next couple days to learn more about both current and former Cougars and the 2013 team as a whole. Check out the following TV specials that will feature BYU football.

On Sunday, April 7, Ziggy Ansah and Kyle Van Noy will be featured on the program Mormon Times airing on KSL-TV, Channel 5, in Salt Lake City. The program begins at 4:30 p.m. MT, 30 minutes after the final session of General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (NOTE: if you missed it, here's a link to the story on KSL.com).

Then on Monday, April 8, an hour-long BYUtv Sports special entitled "True Blue: Spring Football" will be broadcast nationally at 6 p.m. MT/8 p.m. ET. Originating from LaVell Edwards Stadium, the special program will feature interviews with head coach Bronco Mendenhall and offensive coordinator Robert Anae as well as players Kyle Van Noy, Cody Hoffman, Daniel Sorensen and Taysom Hill.  Former Cougars Chris Smith and Brett Denney also drop by the set to share their insights. The 60-minute program will look back at spring practices and look ahead to the 2013 season with position-group previews and analysis from former BYU quarterback and TV analyst Blaine Fowler.

Over the next few weeks members of the team will be working hard on their school work to finish the winter semester before offseason workouts begin. It won't be long before Football Media Day arrives in late June with the team once again taking center stage to talk about preparations for fall camp and the 2013 season.
