All-America recognition for Van Noy, 'Unga, Hill, Williams

BYU senior linebacker Kyle Van Noy has added another All-America award to his trophy case. Lindy's Sports has recognized the Cougar star with third-team honors on its 2013 Lindy's All-America Teams

This week KVN was also named to the CBSSports.com Third Team and received honorable mention from SI.com. To date, Van Noy has been named to four All-America teams (Walter Camp, Athlon Sports, CBSSports.com, Lindy's) and received one honorable mention. He was named the FBS Independent Defensive Player of the Year and received the same honor from College Sports Madness and SB Nation.

Named to four All-America teams last year, Van Noy is BYU's first back-to-back All-American since Dennis Pitta in 2008 and 2009.

Among Van Noy's teammates being recognized in the All-America realm include Uani 'Unga, another senior linebacker, who joined Van Noy in receiving honorable mention All-America honors by SI.com. In addition, BYU quarterback Taysom Hill and running back Jamaal Williams were recognized with honorable mention on the 2013 College Football News Sophomore All-America Team
