A large turnout of Cougar fans in Houston met and mingled with BYU coaches and athletes on Saturday during the second of four Fan Fest events conducted this spring from Utah to Nevada to Texas to California.

The Houston Fan Fest took place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT at the Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park located at 6464 Creekside Forest Drive in Spring, Texas. More than 2,500 fans were estimated to have attended during the three-hour BYU event. Check out the links below to see a short highlight video and full photo gallery of the Houston Fan Fest.

Among those participating, football head coach Kalani Sitake and offensive coordinator Ty Detmer were on hand along with Cosmo and other Cougar coaches and players, including brothers Fred Warner and Troy Warner as well as Texas natives Tejan Koroma, Akile Davis, Trey Dye and Tanner Jacobson.

BYU football will return to Houston this fall to face the LSU Tigers of the Southeastern Conference on Sept. 2 in the 2017 AdvoCare Texas Kickoff at NRG Stadium, home of the Houston Texans. Tickets can be purchased at BYUtickets.com.

This is the fifth-straight season BYU has traveled to its fans to conduct Fan Fest events, which gives Cougar Nation the opportunity to interact and take photos with Cougar coaches and student-athletes while also enjoying games and festivities such as face painting, inflatables, team posters and other BYU prizes.

BYU's first Fan Fest this year was in Las Vegas on April 22. BYU will also conduct upcoming Fan Fest events in Farmington, Utah (Tuesday, May 16) and Corona, California (Saturday, June 3).
