After a full day of events on Thursday, the BYU football team is less than 24 hours from facing Washington in the 2013 Fight Hunger Bowl. The Cougars took the field at AT&T Park on Thursday afternoon to conduct a team walk-through at the site of Friday's primetime matchup between the Cougars and Huskies.

After meetings in the morning, BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall and team captains Daniel Sorensen, Uani 'Unga, JD Falslev and Skyler Ridley partipicated in the Bowl Pep Rally at nearby Union Square. The BYU marching band, cheerleaders and Cosmo also represented the Cougars while fans from both schools filled the famous downtown San Francisco square.

After Coach Mendenhall and Washington's Marquis Tuiasosopo met with the media to conduct their final interviews prior to the matchup, both teams joined the bowl committee and other dignitaries, including San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee, in the Grand Ballroom at the historic Westin St. Francis for the Bowl Kickoff Luncheon. Coach Mendenhall and senior captains Falslev and 'Unga took their turns on stage to represent the Cougars while everyone enjoyed a fine meal.

The Cougars concluded their day by conducting a well-attended fireside Thursday evening at the Inter-Stake Center located adjacent to the LDS Oakland Temple.

Final preparations for the game continue on Friday leading up to kickoff at 6:35 p.m. PT. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN with live pregame and postgame shows on BYUtv.
