How’s your summer been?
It’s been good. Just going to Lake Powell. Work and working out. It’s a college kid thing, right?
What do you think about the BYU Broadcasting facilities and Media Day?
It’s cool. I’ve been up here, but what they do up here is cool. We need it to get BYU football out there. It’s kind of how BYU does things. When we do things, we do it right.
Who is your biggest fan?
My number-one fan is my sister. No doubt. She’s been there since I was a little kid. There were a lot of times where she could have said, ‘Why don’t I get any attention?’ She’s never done that. I mean she has Google alerts every time my name comes up, she gets an email. So tell me another number-one fan that has that going on.
What are you looking forward to most about the season?
We have one of the toughest schedules ever. As a player, you have to break it down game by game. Right now my focus is on Virginia, where it should be. I haven’t beaten Utah since I’ve been here. I haven’t forgotten that. There’s a chip on all of our shoulders, especially the seniors.
