Former Cougar Josh McAdams (2004-2006) ran in the 3,000 meter steeplechase preliminary at the USA Track & Field Olympic Trials on Monday and advanced to the final. McAdams, represented by New Balance, ran the race in 8:31.15 and finished fifth in his heat to automatically move on to Thursday's final.
