Patch continues to dominate in NORCECA Championship

The U.S. Men’s Junior National Volleyball Team secured its spot in the 2012 NORCECA Men's Junior Continental Championship (U-21) finals by defeating Puerto Rico 25-15, 25-16, 25-20 in Friday evening’s semifinal match at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

BYU men's volleyball incoming freshman Ben Patch led the U.S. with 16 points off of 13 kills and three blocks. With the win the U.S. (4-0), defending tournament champion, secured a spot in Saturday’s finals match against Canada. The top three finishing teams in the NORCECA Men's Junior Continental Championship earn berths into the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men's Junior World Championship.
