Last week truTV put out a press release with broadcast details for the 2012 Acura Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. Here's another release with more information about the broadcast plans, including details about a feature on Coach Rose that will air during the event and the broadcast team that will call the game.

BYU vs. Georgia State preview

BYU men’s basketball will host Georgia State on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. MST in the Marriott Center. The game is the second in the Acura Coaches vs. Cancer Classic and is the first-ever meting between the two teams.

Led by its three captains, BYU won its 2012-13 season opener 81-66 over Tennessee State last Friday.

The game starts at 7 p.m. MST and will be broadcast live on BYUtv and KSL Newsradio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM. BYU men's basketball will host Tennessee State in the 2012-13 season opener for both teams on Friday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. MST. The game is part of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic and the first-ever meeting between the two teams.

BYU went 2-0 through this season’s exhibition games with wins over Southeastern Oklahoma State and Findlay. Returning starter Brandon Davies led the team, averaging 19.5 points and 9.5 rebounds through the exhibition games while shooting .583 from the field.

BYU basketball program ranked ninth by Basketball Times

Every five years since 1997, Basketball Times has ranked the top college basketball programs in the country. Only programs that have won two-thirds of their games over the last 10 years are included. BYU qualified for the first time this year and has earned a ranking of No. 9. A total of 33 teams are included in the rankings.
