With all of this week's rankings out, the Cougars have inched up in eight different polls and rankings. While BYU started the season at No. 6 in the NSCAA poll, they were in the 10-12 range in other polls. Now they have moved into the top 10 in each of the rankings with a high of fifth in the Soccer America poll and a low of ninth in the Bennett Rankings. The Cougars were also slotted in as a No. 2 seed in bracket projections by CollegeSportsMadness.com. Last week's ESPNW Power Rankings also put the Cougars 12th just behind Penn State and WCC foe Portland.
