Yesterday the Cougars practiced in the Barclays Center practice gym and today had a shoot around on the playing floor to get ready for tonight's game against Florida State at 7 p.m. EST. The Barclays opened this fall and is pretty incredible. One of the highlights so far was riding in a bus elevator down into the building and coming out 50 feet from where the games will be played.

After breakfast in the hotel, the women’s team gathered to watch film on tonight’s opponent Boston College, and then it was off to shoot around at the Conte Forum, on the BC campus. On the way to our practice, we took a short detour so we could see the Boston Temple. We stopped for just a few minutes to take a couple of pictures. At the game we had a small, but loud cheering section. Unfortunately, we came up short at the end, losing to Boston College 62-56.

Wednesday – a day in between games

We arrived in Newton, MA via bus late Tuesday night after leaving from Hanover, NH with the win over Dartmouth. Wednesday morning was spent practicing at Harvard. Once the girls showered we met with Dr. Roger Porter, who is on the faculty at Harvard and is a BYU alumni. He gave us a wonderful tour of the campus where we learned a lot about the school's history. He took us to Dunster House where he is the House Master. We enjoyed a delicious lunch there in the eating area that is reminiscent of the Dining Hall in the Harry Potter books and movies.
