Live from the KSL 5 TV studios, BYU head coach Dave Rose started his weekly show with a recap of last week's games. BYU fell 74-68 to San Diego on the road and lost at home to San Francisco 99-87.

"I really believe our guys gave a great effort last week - we got stung by teams who were ready for us. We had beaten both of them the first time around but they were ready. I thought we were prepared for both games and had a good game plan, but we just didn't execute."

When asked where she would like to go if she had a time machine, junior distance runner Sarah Yingling said she would make her way back to the 50's.

"Seriously," she said. "I just think I would love it. It's my style in everything: music, clothes and just life. I would even go to the Regency Period, like the time frame of Pride and Prejudice. I think it would be fun to try out that life style and those dresses."

February is time for the season to begin and it is also the month of letter of intent signings for football and soccer.  BYU baseball has two items of note in regard to football.

Many are aware of freshman outfielder Jacob Hannemann who redshirted this past football season.  Hannemann says he will dedicate February to baseball, but will be dividing his time between the two sports in March.

Live from the KSL 5 TV studios, BYU head coach Dave Rose kicked off his weekly Coach's Show with a full recap of last week's games on the road against Gonzaga and Portland.

"We really have to compete hard in this conference, and especially when we're playing a Top 10 team. We have to get a lot of guys to contribute and that was something we struggled with against Gonzaga. At Portland we responded well and executed our game plan, and it turned out much better. The pace was more like us."
