UNLV scored the first points of the game on a field goal by Jonathan Leiva from 46 yards. The Rebels set up the field goal after quarterback Blake Decker threw a pass to Devante Davis for 11 yards, and Shaquille Murray-Lawrence rushed twice for a total of eight yards.

BYU beat Long Beach State 95-90 at the Marriott Center on Friday in a game that had a total of 24 3-pointers made.

BYU lead 9-5 at the first timeout with 15:40 left in the game. Tyler Haws started the game shooting 3 of 3 from the field, two of which were shots from beyond the arc. Anson Winder had a block to stop a breakaway LBS bucket. The 49ers went on a 7-2 run to put them within one of the Cougars, 20-19 with 12:10 left.

PROVO, Utah – Sophomore forward Ashley Hatch was named to CollegeSportsMadness.com's All-America Second Team, while four other Cougars and head coach Jennifer Rockwood were honored on the website's All-Conference teams.

Hatch was one of four forwards on the All-America Second Team. She finished with 18 goals and six assists on the season and is currently tied for sixth in the nation in total goals and eighth in total points.

BYU football travels on Halloween, gears up for Middle Tennessee

Following team and positions meetings and a team walk-through in Provo Halloween morning, the BYU football team boarded a charter for the flight east and across the Mississippi River, eventually arriving in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. 

After check-in at the team hotel, coaches and players met with the CBS Sports broadcast crew to provide insights into Cougar football. After dinner the team hopped onto busses and went to Central Magnet School for the traditional fireside the night before the game.

Football travels and preps for Boise State

BYU football departed Provo Thursday and continued preparations ahead of Friday night's matchup with Boise State.

After some meetings and practice in the morning, the team took off early in the afternoon on a flight up north to Boise. Following the arrival at the team hotel, ESPN meetings and dinner, busses took the Cougars to the Meridian Idaho East Stake Center for the customary BYU football fireside.
