Allyson Anderson Wardell, the All-American javelin thrower from Billings, Mont., came to BYU three years ago due to the outstanding environment at BYU and her close family ties. Her tentative life plan consists of finishing school, becoming a surgical assistant, starting a family and coaching.

When she isn't on the field throwing, Allyson uses her hands for more delicate activities like sewing or crocheting.
