Packed in the Fieldhouse

Hello Cougar Fans! What a busy week it has been, volleyball sure has been keeping us going! Monday night we had a chance to get out into the community and bring fans out to our rival game against Utah on Friday. We split up and spread out around Provo, talking to fans and handing out vouchers for our game. Tuesday we had a great practice and had time to get into the weight room one last time with our strength coach Tony before he left for BYU Hawaii. Wednesday evening we did our annual dorm storm at Helaman Halls. We visited with the freshmen and it was great to see them so excited about BYU volleyball! Thursday we were able to have a great full practice and really prepare for our game against Utah. Friday was the big day! The Fieldhouse was packed with Cougar fans and we were all excited to face the Utes. We came out very strong and won the first two sets, but unfortunately, after a long five-game battle and emotions running high, we fell just short. However, we are excited to get back in the gym and work hard to prepare for facing UVU and UNLV this week. Thank you for all your support and hope to see at the games!

3-1 Conference Start

With a confrence record of 3-1 now our season is off to a great start. This last weekend we got to go to Vegas and crush the UNLV rebels. We left provo Friday morning and got to spend the night hanging out at the most amazing house. Chelsea Nitta's uncle had us over for dinner. With the help from all of the Nitta's and Sager's we were stuffed full with a yummy homemade dinner. We could not have been more happy, and ready to play UNLV on Saturday afternoon. From the second we stepped on the court for the game, there was no question of who was going to win. It was a fun game to play in, and even more fun with all of our friends and family that were able to come. We love you all and are so grateful for your support. We are excited to host UNM and TCU at home this week, and look forward to adding a couple wins to our record, as well as securing our spot in the Mountain West Conference.
