Cosmo Needs YOU!
Through three weeks of the Capital One All-America Mascot Team competition, Cosmo the Cougar has moved into second-place. After dropping a close match in week one to two-time champion Monte (University of Montana), Cosmo has clawed his way into the top three with back-to-back wins over Hairy Dawg (Georgia) and Goldy Gopher (Minnesota).
Although the football team is idle this week, Cosmo is busy battling Seymour (Mississippi) in week four action that features two of the top five mascots.
Fan voting is the sole determinant of the winner. Over the next eight weeks, Cosmo will compete head-to-head with all the other mascots for the title of Capital One Mascot of the Year.

Voting consists of 11 weekly head-to-head match ups between the All-Americans. The mascots with the best win/loss records face off in online playoffs starting in November. The winner will be pronounced Capital One National Mascot of the Year on January 1, 2008 during the Capital One Bowl.
