Jan JorgensenAt BYU:2009: (Junior) Earned letterman honors... saw action in all 13 games, including 12 starts at corner ... All-MWC Honorable Mention ... totaled 44 tackles on the season, including 31 solo ... had four tackles for a combined loss of nine yards ... led the team with 14 pass breakups ... intercepted passes against Tulane, Colorado State and Wyoming ... had a season-high 11 tackles against Florida State ... defended an average of 1.31 passes per game, tying the second-highest average in the nation and ranking first in the MWC.

Before BYU: Prepped at Washington High School in Fremont, Calif.
OTHER COLLEGE: Two-year starter for Foothill College ... an excellent cover corner who is extremely versatile ... can play the run by shedding blocks and delivering punishing hits ... also contributed as a kick returner with good open field instincts ... runs the 40 in 4.4 seconds and has a 36-inch vertical leap ... recorded 39 tackles, three tackles for loss, one interception and six pass breakups in 2008 ... the only freshman and only corner back to earn all-conference defensive back honors in 2007 ... coached by Doug Boyett.
