Harvey UngaAt BYU: 2009: (Sophomore) Earned letterman honors as a sophomore ... saw action in all 13 games, including 10 starts at outside linebacker ... totaled 52 tackles on the season, including 30 solo ... had six tackles for a combined loss of 36 yards ... recorded two sacks against New Mexico and one against Utah ... had three pass breakups and five quarterback hurries ... recorded an interception at UNLV on a pass intended to go out of bounds ... recovered a fumble against Tulane ... had a career-high eight tackles against New Mexico. 2008: (Freshman) Earned letterman honors as a freshman ... saw action in eight games ... contributor on special teams ... totaled three tackles on the season, including two solo takedowns ... recorded his first career interception in BYU’s 44-0 shutout win over Wyoming. 2007: Redshirted as a true freshman.

Before BYU: Under the direction of head coach Dave Peck, helped lead Bingham HS to its first state championship in 60 years ... a three-year starter ... Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret Morning News 5-A Most Valuable Player ... named the best overall athlete in the state by the Deseret Morning News ... credited with 40 receptions for 699 yards and 11 touchdowns ... on defense, tallied 89 tackles, five interceptions and eight pass deflections.

Personal: Parents are Kirk and Brenda Pendleton ... born in Provo, Utah ... father, Kirk, played receiver for the Cougars from 1980-83 ... recruited by Oregon, California, Colorado, Washington, UNLV and Utah ... brother-in-law of former BYU wide receiver Austin Collie.
