FRESHMAN - (2009):
- Started the season with a third place 800m finish at the Bengal Shootout (2:19.54)
- Finished eleventh at the UNM Cherry and Silver Invitational in the 800m (2:18.12)
- Grabbed seventh place at the Bronco Invitational in the 800m with an indoor season-best 2:15.89
- Placed seventeenth at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational in the 1000m (2:57.92)
- Started outdoor season with a 10th place 800m finish at the Baldy Castillo Classic (2:16.01)
- Ran a time of 4:41.77 in the 1500m at the Stanford Invitational
- Placed fifteenth with a season-best 800m at the Sun Angel Track Classic (2:14.55)
- Placed eighth at the BYU Invitational Tri-Meet in the 3000m Steeplechase with a time of 11:36.30
BEFORE BYU:
- Holds the high school record in the 800M, 300M hurdles and the 4x400M relay at Prepped at Reagan High School
- Regional record-holder in the 4x400M relay
- Was track MVP of the year in 2006-2007, lettered four years in track and cross country
- Was co-captain of the cross country team
- Was the Top 10 Texas State Elite runner
- Played for the San Antonio Blazers in club whose team placed fourth in the 4x800M relay at the AAU Junior Olympics in 2004; was also a Junior Olympic qualifier in the 800M
