BEFORE BYU:
- Prepped at Millard High School
- Member of varsity teams in basketball, volleyball and track since freshman year
- Broke school record in javelin as sophomore, then topped her own record as a junior and again as a senior with a final distance of 132'9'', with which she won state
- Four-time All-State selection in track
- Chosen as MVP and member of All-Star team in basketball as a senior
PERSONAL:
- Parents are Jim and Marilyn Freeman
- She had five sisters and six brothers
