- Began the outdoor season with a second place finish in the javelin (153-06) at the Willie Williams Classic
- Took fourth in the javelin (148-03) at the MWC Championships
- Didn't compete indoor
- Took fifth in the javelin with a season best throw of 152 feet 2 inches at the ASU/ Clif Bar Invitational
- Won the javelin at the Cougar Invitational
- Took third at the Wildcat Outdoor Open at Weber State University
- Placed second in the javelin at the Robison Invitational
- Took third in the javelin at the MWC Championships
- Named to the All-MWC Team
- Competed in the javelin at the West Region

- Was named Academic all-region
- Varsity letter at Alta High School

- Second-team all-state as a junior
