- Ran in the New Balance Collegiate Invitational, placing eighteenth in the 5000m with a time of 18:31.85
- Began outdoor season at the Baldy Castillo Invitational, placing fourth in the 3000m with a time of 10:15.93
- Took first place at the Cougar Invitational in the 5000m with a time of 18:18.83
- Ran a season best 5000m time (17:57.37) at the Robison Invitational
- Began the season with a fourth place finish in the 3000m (10:21.47) at the NWU Invitational
