Registration

Course

The start of the BYU course is on the grass warm-up field to the north of the track, the finish is in front of the main grandstand. It also includes the warm-up field, the outfield of the baseball side of Miller Park and the grass corridor between the track and Miller Park. Each loop is approxiamtely 1 mile. The course has a number of excellent features. The surface is all grass and track, with 70-80 percent of the course grass. All pathways near the baseball field are covered so that competitors can wear spikes. The finish of the races will be at the main finish line in front of the grandstand. The features of the complex include: seating for 3000-plus spectators with a view of 70 percent of the course, the scoreboard, sound system, full bathrooms and concessions.

More Information

Timing: Timing and results by RunnerCard. The timing for this year will feature transponder timing. We will collect times at the completion of each lap as the runners cross the finish line, which will be very close to a 1 mile split, and a little over the 2 mile split, in addition to the final time. Each finisher will receive a personal RunnerCard at the end of the race. Results will be posted at the meet and web posted that same day.

Spikes: Spikes are allowed, limited to 1/4" pyramids. No pin spikes or Christmas trees.

Spectator Admission: Entrance to the Autumn Classic is $5. Children 5 and under are free. Any youth athlete age 14 and under that wears their track or cross country uniform is admitted free.

Warm-up: The course will open for the athletes beginning at 7:00 am Saturday morning. 

Directions: The Clarence Robison Track is located on the campus of Brigham Young University. Click to view directions to the track. Parking is available in any of the lots for the football stadium. Parking is also available in the new lot west of Helaman Halls across Canyon Road, and at the Smith Fieldhouse.

Registration: Registration will be processed on the web. Click on the Registration links at the top. High Schools should click on the High School meet in the High School Classification. Awards: Individual awards will be given to the top 30 finishers in the high school races. Team awards will be presented to the top three teams in the Varsity races and the top two teams in the Collegiate,  JV and Frosh/Soph races. 

Cost: Cost for each team is $50 ($100 per school), or $10 per athlete for incomplete teams. The BYU Business Office will send an invoice to your school.  Do not worry about bringing payment to the meet. You will be invoiced according to your registration.
