PROVO, Utah — BYU today announced revised tailgating plans for the 2014 home football season. In an effort to improve the tailgating experience at BYU, the new plan combines the RV lot with the regular tailgate parking (Lot 20) located directly north of the BYU Broadcasting Building.
“The goal is to create a centralized location that gives Cougar Nation more space to enjoy the pregame tailgating experience with friends and family,” said BYU director of athletics Tom Holmoe. “It’s part of our continued effort to improve the game-day experience at BYU.”
Below are some details about the improved tailgating area in Lot 20. These tailgating policies apply only to Lot 20. Those interested in tailgating in other university parking lots (including the lots next to LaVell Edwards Stadium) must follow the policies found online at www.byutickets.com.

Late arriving RV and oversized vehicle parking
There is an additional parking lot for late arriving RV and oversized vehicles that do not arrive at least three hours before the game. This lot is located at 2230 North 150 East (Canyon Road), approximately three blocks north of LaVell Edwards Stadium. The lot is for parking only and is not meant for tailgating. There is no longer reserved parking available in this lot. It has limited space and is first-come, first-served. Guests must also be out of this lot at least three hours after the game. There is no overnight parking available on campus.
