PROVO -- The 13th ranked Cougars (6-0, 2-0) will be featured Saturday morning, Oct. 20, during a segment of ESPN's College GameDay. The program begins at 8:30 a.m. (MT), featuring Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit.
During the broadcast, Steve Cyphers, who spent some time with the Cougars during the week, will present an in-depth look at BYU's success this season.
"I pitched this story a few weeks ago," Cyphers said. "BYU has put up some impressive statistics this season, and combined with the great record and the powerful offense, we felt it was a story that had a lot of national appeal. This is going to be a feature that looks at a team that is off to a great start, led by a guy who was charged with replacing a legend -- LaVell Edwards -- which is no easy task. But so far, so good."
