Why did you choose to play football over other sports: Competitiveness and challenge.

Before a football game, I: Visualize different scenarios that could happen.

How did you spend your off-season: Going to school, working out, & preparing to be a dad.

Who has had the greatest influence on your football career and why: My Dad; he has always pushed me and encouraged me to be the best that I can be.

What do you want to be doing 20 years from now: Writing for a professional sports team as the director of public relations.

Who is the best player you've ever faced: Ed Ta`amu, Utah

The dirtiest team I've ever played is: Utah

What would you like to do sometime in your life: Serve a mission with my wife.

One place you would like to visit: Return to the Philippines where I served my mission.

If you could play another position, what would it be: Tight End

How did you select your jersey number: It was the only one available.

What is your favorite hobby or activity away from football: Spending time with my family.

What is the best book you've ever read: The Book of Mormon.

My favorite professor or most interesting class I've taken at BYU: Kevin Stoker.

What is your most memorable athletic achievement or moment: Defeating Utah last year and meeting up with my wife on the field after the game to hear the news that I was going to be a father.

If you had to give up all of your possessions except one, what would be the one thing you kept and why: My family because they are what brings me the greatest happiness.

My advice to youngsters: You can accomplish anything with hard work.

Interesting fact most people don't know about me: After suffering a herniated disk in 1999 I was told I would never be able to play football again.

If I were on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, the person I'd call for my lifeline is and why: My Grandpa Cowart because he knows everything about anything.

If I could invite any three people to dinner who would they be: My wife, my daughter and President Hinckley.

On game day: My parents (dad especially) usually try to make it to every game and everyone else that can't make it watches the game on TV. Usually after the game, everyone is waiting for me outside the locker room.

How did you find out about the September 11th tragedy: I heard about it on the radio when my alarm went off and I was half asleep. It didn't sink in until I went to class.
