PROVO -- Due to lightening strikes within two to three miles of the BYU practice facility, head coach Gary Crowton cancelled the remainder of Friday's practice.
The team had practiced just over 30 minutes before the lightening storm moved through Provo. Initially lightening was reported between 20-25 miles away, but within minutes, lightening struck within two to three miles of the facility. Following safety protocol, Crowton immediately dismissed the team from practice.
Friday afternoon's practice was the back half of the first scheduled two-a-day practices during Fall Camp.
