WEST LAKE VILLAGE -- Esteban Calisto and Cameron Edens sit five strokes off the lead in a tie for 23rd place after leading the BYU men's golf team to an 11th place spot after the first round of the USC Collegiate Invitational Monday.

Calisto, a senior, shot a first-round 71, his best round of the spring season to move into a tie for the 23rd overall spot that includes teammate Cameron Edens, who also carded a first-round 71.
