Killpack Three Strokes Back at Pacific Invitational

STOCKTON -- The BYU men's golf team sits tied for eighth place after one round at the Stockton Sports Commission Pacific Invitational, with junior Nick Killpack (St. George, Utah) leading the Cougars tied for ninth place at 3-under-par.

The three-day tournament is being held at the par-72 Brookside Country Club, with tournament tees set at 6,777 yards. There are 14 schools participating in the tournament, and BYU is only 12 total shots out of the lead.

Sophomore Robbie Fillmore (Salt Lake City, Utah) is one stroke behind Killpack at 2-under-par tied for 22nd place. Killpack is three strokes off the lead after recording six birdies and three bogeys in his first round.
