Q: What or who is your inspiration?

A: The motivation of a team atmosphere

Q: Something no one would guess about you is?

A: I skipped a grade and entered BYU at 17 years of age

Q: What's your most extreme dream/goal?

A: Swim at Olympic Trials

Q: What is your biggest accomplishment in life so far?

A: Being here at BYU

Q: Where do you see yourself in five years?

A: Still here swimming, with one or two years of eligibility left

Q: How'd you get started in swimming?

A: I took swim lessons, and they said I should join the swim club

Q: Why swimming?

A: I tried other sports, but swimming was the only thing I was good at

Q: How did you spend your off-season?

A: Vacationing and training at home in Arvada, Colorado

Q: Do you have any pre-meet rituals?

A: Nothing unusual

Q: Do you have a good luck charm? If so, what is it?

A: No

Q: What do you do in your free time?

A: What free time?

Q: If you could invite any three people to dinner who would they be?

A: Joseph Smith, Nephi, FDR

Q: Who has had the greatest influence on your swimming career?

A: My parents

Q: What do you appreciate most about Coach Powers, Crump or Russell?

A: He develops champions in and out of the pool
