PROVO -- The four-time defending Mountain West Conference
Champion BYU men's swimming and diving team continues to climb in the national rankings as the Cougars move up one spot in the polls to No. 18 in the nation.
Coming off of a No. 18 national finish last season, the Cougars have picked up right where they left off starting the season ranked No. 19 and moving up after their dominating win over Utah last week.
The strength of the team is impressive when considering that BYU lost nine of its top athletes last season and is relatively young. However the incoming talent is quickly filling the holes and stepping up for the Cougars.
BYU opens up its home schedule next week as the team hosts MWC rival UNLV on Nov. 7 in the Richards Building at 5:00 p.m. (MDT).
