BYU Men's Tennis Team Mission Statement:
The mission of the BYU Men's Tennis Team is to show the collegiate tennis world that individuals who are dedicated to individual and team goals, who strive for excellence, and work hard on a daily basis towards achieving those goals, while living in accordance with BYU standards, can accomplish great things on the tennis court, in the classroom, and in their personal lives.

Personal Commitment Statement as a Coach/Mentor:
"As a coach/mentor I am committed to a culture of excellence both on the court and off, where the desire to achieve and excel is fostered and cultivated, an environment, not unlike the 'real-world,' that is results oriented, where an abundance mentality exists ('one for all and all for one'), where there is serious purpose but 'good, clean fun' prevails. This kind of environment allows individuals to reach their potential as student-athletes and as people. As a coach/mentor, I am committed to helping each player improve his game and prepare for a possible future on the pro tour. As a coach/mentor, I am committed to helping each player, along with other members of the university team, to prepare for a future off the tennis court. And finally, as a coach/mentor, I am committed to helping each player strive for a 'better life and have a better life.' I will have been a success as a coach if I can help each member of the team in these three areas." - Coach Brad Pearce
