The BYU men's track team was selected as the 11th All-Academic Track and Field Team in the nation by the National Collegiate Division I Track Coaches Association.
PROVO -- After posting an overall GPA of 3.03, the BYU men's track team earned All-Academic honors from the National Collegiate Division I Track Coaches Association.
"Academics is obviously very important to us," BYU men's track coach Mark Robison said. "We have some really good students and are really pleased about our academic performance this year."
While the Cougar men were ranked 11th in the nation, other Mountain West Conference contenders placed in the top 15 including Air Force as No. 13 and University of Utah as No. 10.
"Although our GPA this year is a little lower than it has been, we usually have the highest GPA in men's athletics or close to it every year," Robison said.
