COLORADO SPRINGS -- BYU senior Greg Flint has been named the Mountain West Conference Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week after posting a season-best time in the 400-meter hurdles in last weekend's Clarence Robison Invitational.
"It's always a great honor for one of our athletes to win the player-of-the-week award," BYU head men's track & field coach Mark Robison said. "We're very pleased with Greg's performance this season. Not only does he have the fastest time in our region, he is also running a great leg on our 4x400-meter relay team. He's having a great season."
Flint, a native of Kaysville, Utah, won the 400-meter hurdles at the Robison Invitation in a time of 50.58, marking the seventh fastest time in the nation and the fastest overall time in the West Region.
