Robison and Mannova Named MWC Athletes of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS -- BYU sophomore Nate Robison and junior Michaela Mannova have been selected as the Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week, respectively.

Robison, from Provo, Utah, captured the mile run at the Montana State University Invitational with an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 3:59.70. His time is currently the top mark in the conference this season and the second-fastest in MWC history.

Mannova, a Czech Republic native, won the 3,000-meter run at the Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., this past weekend in a meet record time of 9:19.79. Her time is also an NCAA automatic qualification for nationals and a new MWC all-time record by almost eight seconds. The former record of 9:27.42 was set by BYU's Laura Heiner.
