Alleman Earns CSTV Student-Athlete Honors

PROVO -- BYU senior Jonathan Alleman, an outside hitter from Yorba Linda, Calif., has been named a CSTV Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance on and off the court.

After switching positions from right side to outside, he has contributed to the Cougar offense and helped the Cougars to become a top-ranked team in the nation.

Last season Alleman received numerous awards to add to his collection including Second-team All-American and two National Player of the Week honors. He was also named to the 2003 NCAA All-Tournament Team for his performance at the Final Four against Penn State and Lewis University.
