Dear Volleyball Fans:

As you are aware, our top-ranked BYU men's volleyball team is off to a great start in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament. After beating a very good team from UC Irvine last week, we will now be hosting the semifinals and championship rounds of the tournament on Thursday, April 29 and Saturday, May 1 at the Smith Fieldhouse. The tournament will feature the top-four men's volleyball teams in the nation, including No. 1 BYU, No. 2 Long Beach State, No. 3 UCLA and No. 4 Pepperdine. This is going to be one of the most exciting tournaments of the season.

We would like to thank you for your incredible support throughout the year. Because of you, we believe we have the best home-court advantage in the country. We hope you will make plans to attend all three matches, beginning Thursday, April 29, and continue that great tradition of being the best volleyball fans in the country! As you do so, we would like to encourage you to remember the importance of good sportsmanship. We want everyone, including every coach, player and fan to leave Provo having had a great experience. If you have the opportunity, please take the time to meet our guests as they spend a few days in our community. Let's show them that top-ranked BYU hospitality!

Our match against Pepperdine will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Smith Fieldhouse. UCLA and Long Beach State will play immediately after. Because of the many guests who will be on campus in connection with the annual Women's Conference on Thursday, we're asking fans to carpool and park at Edwards Stadium. There will be free shuttle service to and from the Smith Fieldhouse. Make plans to arrive early.

With your help, we look forward to having a successful tournament.

Sincerely,

Tom Peterson

Head Coach, BYU Men's Volleyball
