13th annual golf tournament for BYU baseball

Over 30 BYU baseball alumni return this weekend to play golf and fill rosters in an alumni game on Sept. 19-20.

BYU Coach Mike Littlewood and his staff prepare for tryouts, and practices prior to the 13th annual golf tournament, followed by a nine-inning team scrimmage on Sept. 19 at 5 p.m.

On Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. the alumni game is scheduled to be contested, pending the yet-to-be-announced start time of the BYU-Virginia football game.

The annual baseball golf tournament is full as participants tee off in a shotgun start on the morning of Sept. 19 at TalonsCove Golf Club.

Among the former Cougar baseball players joining Littlewood, his staff and former coach Glen Tuckett in the golf tournament are: Cortland Andrews, Jeff, Kevin and Thomas Bills, Lars Birkland, Ryan Chambers, Cameron Coughlan, Tyler Dabo, David Decker, Justus Gilmore, Rusty Gray, Jeff Hiestand, Jeff Howes, Seth Iorg, Paul Jacinto, Kory Knell, Blair Lucas, Nate Mathis, Sean McNaughton, Lance Moore, JT Musso, Brandon Relf, Curt Rodriguez, Ben Saylor, Bryce Searle, JD Stambaugh, Jake Stubblefield, Blake Torgerson, Wade Vest, Ranger Weins, Pat Wells, and Alex Wolfe.

Previous golf tournaments for BYU baseball have been held at The Ranches, TalonsCove, The Links at Sleepy Ridge and Eagle Mountain Country Club.
