PROVO, Utah – No. 1 BYU men’s volleyball returns home to the Smith Fieldhouse this week for its final regular-season matches against USC.

The Cougars (21-3, 17-3 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) won both matches at then-No. 1 UCLA for the first time in program history. The wins keep BYU tied for first place in league play with Stanford.

BYU to host SUU in doubleheader on Tuesday

PROVO, Utah – BYU softball will kick off its six-game home stand with a doubleheader against Southern Utah at Gail Miller Field on Tuesday.

These two teams have a long history, playing 53 games total. BYU leads 48-5 in the series record, going 23-3 at home. The last time these two teams met in April of last season, the Thunderbirds broke the Cougars’ 33-game winning streak against them with an 11-8 win in Provo.

LOS ANGELES Brenden Sander led No. 3 BYU men's volleyball to a four-set (20-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-23) win at No. 1 UCLA to complete the series sweep Saturday night at the John Wooden Center.

Cougars score 194.075 to end season at NCAA Regionals

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – In its last meet of the 2016 season, BYU gymnastics scored a 194.075 to finish sixth at the NCAA Regionals at the Sports Pavilion in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Saturday night.

“We only had 19 hits and five sticks,” head coach Guard Young said. “That’s not good enough if you are going to compete with some of the best teams in the country. I’m looking forward to a good summer with the team.”

PORTLAND, Oregon (April 2, 2016)—Sophomores Hayden Rogers and Colton Shaver made key contributions Saturday to help No. 24 BYU Baseball complete a road sweep over Portland with a 5-3 victory.

The Cougars, now 23-3 and first place at 7-2 in the West Coast Conference, fended off two challenges by Portland at the beginning and end of Saturday’s contest.

PORTLAND, Oregon (April 1, 2016)—Pitchers Maverik Buffo, Keaton Cenatiempo and Mason Marshall were spot on helping No. 24 BYU baseball to a 4-1 victory Friday over the Portland Pilots.

Their efforts spearheaded the Cougars to a 22-3 overall record and 6-2 mark for first place in the West Coast Conference.
