Gonzaga Series Concludes Cougar Season

Senior day and the final series of the season are this week when BYU baseball entertains Gonzaga starting Thursday.

BYU (19-25 overall, 9-12 in the West Coast Conference) hosts Gonzaga (32-20, 12-9) in a three-game series Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m., and Saturday at 1 p.m.

“All we ask is that our players continue to come out and play well,” BYU coach Vance Law said.

INDIANAPOLIS - BYU Football video coordinator Lane Olson and his staff recently earned the Ultimate SAVVY Award from the Collegiate Sports Video Association for the creation of a BYU recruiting piece entitled "The Flag Bearer."

Golf Concludes Season at Regionals

PALO ALTO, Calif. –After battling it out during the first two rounds, BYU’s Zac Blair and Justin Keiley shot solid scores, but were unable to qualify for the NCAA Championships.

“It was a lot of fun to be here,” Blair said. “It was a bummer not to be here as a team, but at least we had two individuals.”

Cougars Close Season in Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. - Junior Tori Almond struck out eight for the BYU softball team but No. 11 Oregon used a big inning to beat the Cougars 4-1 and eliminate BYU from the NCAA Tournament.

BYU finishes with a record of 45-15, tied for the second-most wins in program history, one shy of the 2010 team's 46 victories.

Santa Clara tops BYU in wild 14-10 contest

PROVO, Utah - Despite coming back to tie the game twice, the BYU baseball team fell to Santa Clara 14-10 at Miller Park on Saturday afternoon.
Santa Clara (25-25, 4-17) broke a 10-10 tie in the top of the ninth inning with four runs off relief pitcher Daniel Welch.
