Strong team effort helps BYU sweep Pacific

PROVO, Utah – BYU set team season highs for blocks and hitting percentage on the way to defeating Pacific in straight sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-19) Saturday night in the Smith Fieldhouse.

The Cougars (6-2, 6-0 MPSF) finished with 16 blocks and hit .377 on the night.

PROVO, Utah – After 32 hard-fought events, BYU men’s and women’s swimming and diving lost a tough battle to Utah in the Deseret First Duel meet Friday at the Richards Building pool.

The men’s team scored 128 points to Utah’s 172, and the women’s team scored 125 points to their 175.
