Fourth straight road conference game is at USF

With an 87-80 overtime victory at Santa Clara, BYU women’s basketball (18-5, 8-4) continues West Coast Conference action on the road. The Cougars stay in northern California to play at San Francisco (9-14, 4-8), Saturday at 2 p.m. PST. Fans can follow the action live on BYU Radio.

Washington State meet canceled

PROVO, Utah – Friday’s BYU women’s swimming meet against Washington State has been canceled due to poor traveling conditions and will not be rescheduled.

Washington State’s flight was canceled, leaving the team unable to travel to Utah in time for the meet. The head coaches decided not to reschedule the competition because of the limited amount of time before the conference championships.

Touchdown Club of Columbus names Taysom Hill among 2014 Players to Watch

BYU quarterback Taysom Hill has been named one of the top college football players to watch in 2014 by the Touchdown Club of Columbus (Ohio). Hill is one of 12 players being recognized on the TDC 2014 Players to Watch list.

A junior in 2014, Hill and other selected recipients will be formally honored at the 59th Touchdown Club of Columbus Awards Banquet at the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion in Columbus on Saturday.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Sophomore Lexi Eaton led BYU women’s basketball to an 87-80 overtime victory over Santa Clara Thursday night on the road.

ST. GEORGE, Utah – Coco Taualii shrugged off a slow start to spark BYU to a split on the first day of the season Thursday winning against Southern Utah and losing to Weber State.

The Cougars (1-1) dropped the first game 4-3 to Weber State (1-0). BYU rebounded in the second game getting the 10-2 win over the Thunderbirds (0-2).
