Another Baker's Dozen Sign

A lineup of MVPs, all-state players and heat-throwing pitchers have inked 13 letters of intent with BYU baseball from the November signing period.

Three junior college players join 10 prepsters signing with the Cougars. The juco players are right-handed pitcher Brady Corless and outfielder Nick Urban from Salt Lake Community College and left-handed pitcher Austin Kamel from Oxnard College in California.

On a five game winning streak, the BYU women’s basketball team (5-0) returns to the Marriott Center for another battle against a Pac-12 foe. The Cougars take on Arizona (1-5) on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. The game can be seen live on BYUtv.

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – Jennifer Hamson led BYU women’s basketball to an 82-66 win on the road at Cal State Northridge on Saturday.

"I thought Lexi played a really nice game for us," BYU head coach Jeff Judkins said. "Of course Jen gave us a serious mismatch down low. They couldn't stop her tonight. She played just 19 minutes and got 24 points for us. She had a great game.”

SOUTH BEND, Ind. –  BYU football lost 23-13 to Notre Dame on a cold and snowy Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium.

BYU (7-4) trailed 17-7 at halftime and was unable to make up the difference in the second half as Notre Dame (8-3) kept the Cougars out of the end zone in the third and fourth quarters.

SAN DIEGO – BYU women’s volleyball lost in a five-set (25-27, 25-15, 25-19, 21-25, 11-15) heartbreaker on the road at No. 9 San Diego on Saturday.

“Congratulations to San Diego for winning the conference championship,” BYU head coach Shawn Olmstead said. “It was an exciting match all the way to the end. Our girls fought hard and have no reason to not be pleased with their effort. A few plays went San Diego's way today and that's what caught up to us in the end.”
