Five girls score five goals in home victory

PROVO, Utah —Five different players scored as the No. 17/8 BYU women's soccer team defeated Cal Poly 5-1 on Thursday in front of a crowd of 4,103 at South Field.

 “I think we’re playing great soccer and we are able to maintain our momentum,” head coach Jennifer Rockwood said. “Cal Poly is a very good team, they move the ball well and were able to get an early goal on us. We bounced back, got the tying goal, kept our composure and finished very strong in the second half.”

No. 3 BYU readies for only home meet of the season

PROVO, Utah -- The BYU cross country teams host their only home meet of the season Friday at the Cascade Golf Course in Orem, Utah.

After winning the Utah State Invitational at the beginning of the month, the Cougars look to use the home race to help determine which runners will be traveling to their upcoming invitationals.

PROVO, Utah - With a Thursday BYU football game against Boise State on the horizon, a collection of fans and former players are making the 460-mile bike ride from Provo, Utah, to Boise to honor a special group of individuals.

The BYU football program has been honoring Thursday’s Heroes since the fall of 2007. The purpose of this program is to honor children and families who are facing significant life challenges.
