Wide receiver Cody Hoffman kept his streak alive, now catching at least one pass in 30 straight games and 36 of 37 career games. Hoffman finished with a career-best 13 receptions that went for 155 yards. Hoffman now has 951 receiving yards this season, surpassing his 2011 total of 943.

Coming off its first loss of the season in an 88-70 setback against Florida State, BYU men’s basketball will look to bounce back against No. 20/21 Notre Dame at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., in the Acura Coaches vs. Cancer Classic on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. EST. The game will be televised live on truTV and broadcast live on KSL Newsradio 102.7 FM and 1160 AM and KSL.com.

BROOKLYN, New York — Despite Tyler Haws and Brandon Davies combining for 42 points, BYU men’s basketball fell 88-70 to Florida State in the Acura Coaches vs. Cancer Classic Friday at the Barclays Center.

Cougars fall 71-65 to Harvard

BOSTON—The BYU women’s basketball team fell 71-65 to Harvard on the road Friday night, the team’s second loss in as many days.

BYU’s record fell to 2-2, while Harvard’s increased to 2-1.

"Keilani (Unga) had a really nice game and Kim (Beeston) played really well for us as well," BYU head coach Jeff Judkins said. "We made some mistakes at the end, missed a couple of free throws. We had a lot better effort tonight and we’re getting better."

Television plans complete for 2012-13

PROVO, Utah – BYUtv has announced that it will broadcast three BYU men’s basketball road games, at Weber State (Dec. 15), at San Francisco (Jan. 5) and at San Diego (Feb. 7).

Volleyball clinches share of conference title

MALIBU, Calif. — Four Cougars in double figures secured a share of the conference title Thursday night as the No. 13 BYU women’s volleyball team took down Pepperdine 3-1 (25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 25-21) on the road.

"It was a gutsy win for these girls," BYU head coach Shawn Olmstead said. "I'm very, very proud of how they stayed composed on the road and how they competed on the road against a quality team like Pepperdine."
