BYU Soccer Fans Among Best In Country

PROVO, Utah - In an article recently published by Soccer America, No. 20 BYU women's soccer received recognition for having the highest attendance in the nation for all of its home games this season.

BYU is on course to lead women's soccer in attendance this season, drawing its third 4,000-plus crowd of the season for the Cougars' 2-1 win over Cal State Fullerton on Friday, Sept. 2. In its most recent contest on Labor Day against Arizona, BYU saw 3,374 fans and earned itself an eighth-place ranking in the nation's Top 10 for the year.

BYU Seeks to Continue Win Streak

PROVO, Utah—After securing first place in the Varney’s Invitational, the BYU women’s volleyball team takes on BYU-Hawaii Wednesday before setting out for the Utah Invitational in Salt Lake City.

“This is an exciting week for us in that we have a chance to compete against four different opponents in four days,” BYU head coach Shawn Olmstead said. “Our focus will be on each individual opponent as things progress.  We look forward to the challenge this presents and can’t wait to get going.”
